Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cubed beef
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 bottle of lager
- 1 tsp maple mustard... (or Dijon)
- 1 tsp maple vinegar ... (or red wine)
- 1 tsp thyme
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 cup diced turnip
- 1 packet of dehydrated mushrooms or 125 ml fresh
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Melt the butter in a frying pan. Coat cubes with flour and brown in butter.
- When golden brown, add the beer bottle and scrape the bottom of the pan.
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients and continue cooking for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Add water if necessary.
